Paddle Australia Announces Athlete of the Year Finalists

With the 2023 Paddle Australia Awards just around the corner, we’re pleased to announce the finalists for the Athlete of the Year and Coach of the Year award categories.

An opportunity to celebrate achievements within our sport, from community champions to High Performance heroes, the Annual Awards Evening will take place on the Gold Coast on Saturday 28 October.

The Paddler of the Year Awards are presented to any paddler, in their respective age group, competing at any level or undertaking significant paddling expeditions during the nomination period.

While the Olympic/Paralympic award celebrates achievement in the events contested at the Olympic/Paralympic Games within the disciplines of Canoe Sprint and Canoe Slalom, the Non-Olympic/Non-Paralympic Paddler of the Year is awarded to a person who excelled in one or more events or disciplines not contested at the Games.

PA extends its congratulations to each of the national finalists across the Paddler of the Year, Coach of the Year and Team of the Year categories.
