- How did you get into paddling?
I saw an ad for it in a school newsletter and tried it out, at around the same time I started to have some problems with my knees and we decided kayaking was the best sport for my body. - What has been your biggest accomplishment in the sport so far?
I haven’t really had any big results yet, but I’m hoping to change that this year! So far just qualifying for teams and into semi-finals has been it. - What keeps you busy outside of paddling? What is your current Occupation and/or University degree?
I’m living in Prague and travelling around a lot for training which keeps me pretty busy. I also compete in wildwater so training for two disciplines takes a lot of time. I’m studying physiotherapy part time and I’m most of the way through my degree. I’m also spending time with friends as often as I can. - Who is the greatest Influence on your career?
My coach, Zlatan. He has trained me since I first started paddling and he always encouraged me to be better and faster and push myself for more. There are also a lot of other paddlers who have inspired or influenced me like; Ros Lawrence and Ricarda Funk. - How would your best friend describe you?
Probably stubborn! Also always busy. But I think, always happy to help with anything and there to talk to. And always keen to eat. - Do you have any superstitions before a race?
Not really. I always braid my hair, but this is just for comfort. - What is your favourite course to paddle on?
I don’t have just one! I love Prague because its my home course and it’s perfect for paddle-backs. I love Bratislava because of the big drops and fast water, Bradys is super fun for the same reasons. Every time I go to a new course I add it to my list of favourite courses I think! - Previous National Teams:
