CHAIR AND VICE CHAIR OF SAFETY ADVISORY GROUP CONFIRMED

Paddle Australia (PA) is pleased to announce the Chair and Vice Chair of the recently formed Safety Advisory Group (SAG).

The SAG has been established to provide advice and support to the CEO and Managers of PA regarding safety issues relevant to the paddling community.

Composed of seven members all with varying roles and experience, and from states and territories right across Australia, the SAG will work across Paddle Australia’s competitions, community and paddling industry to ensure that safety of PA’s members remains of utmost importance.

The SAG has appointed Barry Peach as the Chair, with Andrew Singh to assume the position of Vice Chair.

Peach has extensive experience spanning 35 years, managing and advising risk and safety function in corporate industrial and large complex project environments.

Singh has 17 years of experience as a police officer, coupled with 10 years as a leadership facilitator and 28 years experience working with State, National and international government agencies.
