We all know paddling is a favourite Australian pastime, and every day thousands of Aussies are putting on their life jackets and jumping in their boats with their family and friends to paddle on some of the most beautiful bodies of water our great country has to offer.

Paddle Australia is looking to celebrate the ‘everyday paddler’ with the launch of the new user generated digital media campaign: #MyPaddleOz

#MyPaddleOz is all about celebrating why Aussies paddle, what they paddle, where they paddle and who they paddle with.

The campaign will highlight the breadth and depth of Australia’s diverse paddling community, celebrating the numerous disciplines and events in our sport and the great physical, social and mental benefits of being part of the wider Paddling Australia membership community.

Hear from Olympic Champion Jess Fox about what #MyPaddleOz means to her.

It’s easy to get involved – simply share your paddling videos, photos and stories across social media, tagging #MyPaddleOz and @paddle_australia. Each week, Paddle Australia will repost and share some of the best content across their official social media accounts and website.

In January 2022, Paddle Australia will begin featuring paddle clubs, individuals, events and initiatives around Australia on their website and across social media through the ‘On The Water With…’ series.

The digital series will once again celebrate innovative paddlers around the country who are making a difference in their paddling community or have an interesting story to tell.

If you know an individual, club, event or initiative with a great story to tell, please contact Paddle Australia via direct message on social media, or email media@paddle.org.au.
