Under the new United Paddling Management Workforce model, Paddle Australia is seeking applications for the role of Executive Officer – Paddle Tasmania.
The Executive Officer is employed by Paddle Australia (PA) to work closely with the Paddle Tasmania (PT) Board and the PA Executive Management Team to effectively develop operational plans, aligned to the Strategic Plan for Padding in Australia (SPPA), to effectively raise the profile of paddle across Tasmania.
The role is responsible for the management of PT and for providing services and support to all members, affiliated clubs and the staff, contractors, committees and volunteers of PT.
REPORTING STRUCTURE
Under the United Paddling Management Workforce model, this role reports to the CEO of PA however it will be the Chair and Board of PT who will provide regular oversight and guidance around workflow and the delivery of local based activities, as agreed in conjunction with PA and aligned to the Strategic Plan for Paddling in Australia.
LOCATION
The position is located in Tasmania (all locations considered) and is offered on a work from home basis – PT does not have an office presence. Some intrastate and interstate travel will be required including occasional weekend or after-hours representation or site visits.
