Final Day of Olympic Canoe Sprint

Three Australian boats will be in action on the final day of the Tokyo 2020 Canoe Sprint competition at Sea Forest Waterway with Australia’s men’s and women’s kayak fours in the semi-finals and on track to secure a spot in the medal races later in the day (Saturday, 7 August).

Olympic Games debutants Jaime Roberts, Shannon Reynolds and Cat McArthur as well as London Olympian Jo Brigden-Jones will be up first in the women’s K4 500 Semi-final scheduled at 11:07 AEST with the top four to progress through to Final A (medal race) a couple of hours later.

It will be the last international racing for Jo Brigden-Jones, who has announced she will retire after these Games.
