2021 PA Canoe Sprint Championships – Newsletter 8

NEWSLETTER 8

15 June 2021

Dear Canoe Sprint Community,

Four weeks ago, Paddle Australia (PA) in conjunction with Paddle South Australia (PSA) hosted the 2021 Paddle Australia (PA) Canoe Sprint Championships (Sprint Championships) from 19-23 May at the incredible West Lakes in Adelaide, South Australia.

PA wishes to say THANK YOU to everyone involved including athletes, coaches, parents, families, and supporters. We also wish to thank the wonderful officials and volunteers. Without their time and experience PA cannot possibly run competitions and events at a high level for our united paddling community.

This year for the Sprint Championships PA/PSA had support from our partners and sponsors the ASC / AIS, SA Government, Events SA, City of Charles Sturt, Mister Doors, 776 BC, Stryker Recovery and local media.

VOLUNTEERS YOU ARE THE BEST!

Paddle Australia boasts a great group of dedicated volunteers who always go above and beyond for the betterment of our sport.  This year, they went even further.  We were so proud during the event to celebrate National Volunteers Week, paying tribute to the hundreds of volunteers who help make competitions like this possible.  Check out the video below celebrating our great volunteers.
