June signals the official kick-off of the 2021/22 paddling season!
With many Clubs offering ‘rolling memberships’ we now have members renewing at all different times throughout the year. However for many members whose memberships expire on 30 June, next Tuesday (1 June) is the day you can jump into the Paddle Australia Membership and Events Portal and renew your membership!
When you do next renew, you will notice a change at checkout. The Paddle Australia and State Paddle Association fees will be shown as separate line items for the first time. Previously these amounts were shown as a combined fee. The splitting out of these fees at checkout simply avoids the previous manual processes of apportioning funds between organisations.
The renewal process is easy but please check out the renewing member guide or email us on membership@paddle.org.au if you need any assistance. If you need to pay by credit card over the phone, please call your Club, State Paddle Association or Paddle Australia on 02 9763 0670 and select option 2.

Paddle Australia and Your State Paddle Association… With You on the Water
When you join a Paddle Club, you become part of a united paddling community, supported by your State Paddle Association and Paddle Australia.
Paddle Australia and your State Paddle Association add value and benefits in many different ways. Some relate directly to you, some to your Club and others to the broader paddling community. This all adds up to good news for you!

The Paddle On Foundation… offering financial support again in 2021
If the impact of COVID-19 means that paying for your 2021/22 membership is causing undue financial pressure, you can click here to complete the simple application form to request support with the payment of your Paddle Australia, State Paddle Association and Club membership via the Paddle On Foundation. The Paddle On Foundation will pay all or part of your fees, subject to review of each application by Paddle Australia.
The Paddle On Foundation was established in May 2020 by Paddle Australia and the six State Paddle Associations to provide support to paddlers who have been adversely affected by COVID-19. Many generous members donated to the Foundation last year and as a result, over 50 paddlers were provided support which enabled them to join or remain a member of their Club.
If you are in a position to support those that have done it tough during COVID-19 you will once again have the opportunity to make a tax-deductible donation to the Paddle On Foundation to help support your fellow paddlers. You’ll be presented with the option to donate when you’re renewing.
