Sprint Championships volunteer registration now open

Paddle Australia (PA) is delighted to be launching volunteer registration for the 2021 PA Sprint Championships at the Sydney International Regatta Centre (SIRC) in Penrith NSW from 19-23 May.

Volunteers form an important part of the PA community and the Sprint Championships will be calling on all those interested in bringing to life the national event.

Not only will our volunteers have the best seat in the house to see all the action unfold, it will be one of the last times to see our Tokyo bound Olympians in action.

Join us as we also celebrate National Volunteers Week, showcasing the best on offer for our sport in volunteering.

Registrations are now open to volunteer in three areas:

  1. Spectator
  2. Event and
  3. Paddle Specific – Officials.

Volunteers will be provided with a 776BC volunteer event shirt for one or more days of the event. In addition to this, volunteers will be provided with food and drinks when working.

PA is aware that some people who wish to volunteer may be attending the Sprint Championships because they have a family member or friend participating in the event. If this is the case please detail this in your registration and PA will ensure we do not schedule you with a role at the time you need to be watching a race.

As mentioned the Sprint Championships coincides with National Volunteer Week in Australia from 17-23 May. PA will have a function to say thank you to our volunteers during the event.

Everyone must complete registration to be a volunteer/official at the event.
