The Australian Canoe Marathon Team will be attending the 2018 ICF Canoe Marathon Masters World Cup (3-4 September) and Junior, Under 23 and Seniors World Championships (6-9 September) in Prado Vila Verde, Portugal.
Unfortunately, the current team management had to withdraw due to work commitments. Paddle Australia would like to thank them for their work to date.
Paddle Australia is now seeking expressions of interest for a Team Manager and an Assistant Team Manager to attend the tour in Portugal.
The Team logistics are already underway, with the most outstanding items left being communication to the team in the lead up of departure and the day-to-day work whilst on tour including reconciling the budget.
The current Team Management will provide a handover and Paddle Australia staff will assist with administration.
It is expected that the Team Management will be with the team for the duration of the World Championship and World Cup events.
Paddle Australia will provide a contribution to the Team Management to assist with travel expenses.
