The Selection Criteria for 2018 Australian Canoe Marathon Teams is now available

Australian Canoe Marathon Teams competing at the 2018 ICF Canoe Marathon World Championships in Portugal:

The Australian Canoeing Selection Procedure Bylaw has been amended, please make sure you review the bylaw and be familiar with the content – HERE.

The change from previous years is the close of nominations – 22 May 2018, after the Australian Canoe Marathon Championships.  Athletes will have two (2) days after the championship to submit their nomination for selection.  You DO NOT have to nominate before you compete at Nationals, however, if you do not nominate before nominations close on Tuesday 22nd May 2018 you will not be considered for selection.  The $70 nomination fee is applicable should one nominate before, during or after the Australian Championships and MUST be paid for eligibility.  If you have any questions please email marathon@canoe.org.au

  • Entries for the 2018 Marathon Nationals to be held in Adelaide, SA on the 19-20 May 2018. Enter HERE 


  • Merchandise – you can now purchase your event shirt when you put in your entry. Note if you have already put in your entry before the merchandise shirt was available you should have received an email on how to purchase the event shirt. If you have not received this email please email marathon@canoe.org.au
