The medals issued will be the official Australian Canoeing medals. This will be one of the biggest paddling events of the year attracting paddlers from all over Australia. A big contingent from Tasmania has already registered as have quite a few from Queensland and South Australia.

Under 23s SLSA spec ski paddlers will be especially welcome with a prize pool of $1000++ provided by the supporting ski manufacturers.
