  • What keeps you busy outside of paddling? Working and friends.
  • Greatest influence on career? My first coach, Wayne Thomas, taught me a lot about racing and training that I still carrying with me.
  • Who inspires you? My father, Colin Borrows.
  • If you weren’t a paddler, what would you be? Trying to rock climb anything and everywhere.
  • How would your best friend describe you? Laid back, big cuddly teddy bear, happy.
  • Best advice you’ve ever received? Smooth, clean and you will be fast.
  • Superstitions before a race? Give the boat a hug and kiss the deck while sitting in the starting gate.
