Stacey Goodwin

Stacey Goodwin started canoe polo in 2008 in South Australia and very quickly received the opportunity to represent Australia at the 2009 Oceania Canoe Polo Championships as a member of the U21 Australian Women’s Team who placed 1st.

She moved ranks to the Australian Women’s Canoe Polo Team (B Team) for the 2011 Oceania Canoe Polo Championships providing an exceptional insight into what it takes to compete at a senior international level.

With alot of hard work and a supportive training environment, Stacey was selected onto the Australian Women’s Canoe Polo Team (A Team) for the 2015 Oceania Canoe Polo Championships where the team placed 1st.

Stacey’s game just keeps getting better! This year she debuts at the 2018 World Canoe Polo Championships as a strong and key player on the Australian Women’s Canoe Polo Team.

She is very excited to go to Canada and play against teams from other countries. What motivates her the most to train is wanting to be the best she can be on competition day and to not look back and have regrets.
